As for the last 28 years, Laudrick carefully plans each breeding with the goal of creating miniature Australian Shepherd pups that are an excellent representation of the breed, sound of mind and body… healthy, athletic, intelligent, loyal and loving family companions. Then, we raise those pups just as carefully. It takes a lot of time and resources to raise parents and puppies the “right” way. Therefore, we only have a few litters a year… but our pups are worth the wait! We have all colors expected in upcoming litters and have new litters due soon.

                                 From birth, our puppies get lots of handling and stimulation and by the time they                                         leave us, they have met the cats and other farm animals, played with other adult                                           dogs, met and been gently handled by children, been crated for periods of time                                             during weaning and been exposed to all types of sounds and objects. We do                                                   personality evaluations* at 6-7 weeks old to help match puppies to their new families.

                                                (* Personality Matching involves you completing an Owner Questionnaire so we can ascertain what temperament                                                          puppy would suit you best.  When the pups are close to 7 weeks old we put them each through 8 personality tests that                                                      result in them getting a score which reveals their personality.  This allows us to match owners with their best fit puppy and ensures that inexperienced owners or those with very small children don't end up with boisterous, high energy dogs. Our pups are AKC registerable and will have been started on puppy shots, put on a healthy deworming program, microchipped, litterbox training well-started and sent to their new homes, with health records and a LIFETIME genetic health warranty, at 8 1/2 weeks old.
